We arrived at John Whitlock’s studio who kindly loaned us his studio for the week where we hung out together for a while and started to unloaded our things and setting up studio. John told us about a place down the street to get coffee and great pie called Four and Twenty Blackbirds. The coffee was excellent but they were all out of blackbird pie so we had apple instead and it was good. We spent a couple of hours making collages with our found supply and then returned to the hotel in the evening and later went out to a pizza place for dinner and beers. An enjoyable evening.
