A little amendment: On Tuesday collagist Roxa Smith came with a number of her collages to John Whitlock’s studio where we have been working and Les did an interview. Roxa works a lot with patterned paper in her collages and also makes paintings.

Les went to interview and visit with Andrea Burgay who works very densely with themes of destruction, decay and the passage of time. I was pretty worn out and wanted to get in more studio time so I went strait to the studio to work on collages and make these posts and organize all of our mess.
Les got back in the afternoon and we walked up to Four and Twenty Blackbirds for a coffee and snack.
Then we worked to early evening.
around 7:00pm we headed over to Minnie’s bar and had drinks with three of the interviewed artists: Allan Bealy, Marlene Weisman and Andrea Burgay. We then headed over to a great pizza place on 5th Ave.
