This video was the recording from Les Jones that was mentioned previously, Les texted me this video and it took forever to get it to my phone and then off of my phone and onto the Touchonian but here it is! This video was intended to be the wrap up of the week along with the previous video of Les’s work.
Les introduces some big news toward the end of this video so be sure to listen for that.
All in all it was a very successful trip with a lot of captured interviews, evenings with various collage artists and Les and I made nearly 50 collages between us and did a lot of experimenting with new ideas.
Les headed back to the UK on Monday afternoon and texted me this morning (Tuesday) that he made it home.
I will be taking material home to my studio to finish up the remaining collages I wanted to make over the next couple of weeks. Les with continue with his portrait collages that he started in Brooklyn.
In the meantime I will spend the next few days with my wife Rosalia and daughter Nisa who arrive tomorrow Wednesday evening. So I post something while here the next few day or maybe not. Otherwise, I’ll continue next week.
