Reading this article of yours was like having such a great meal and enjoying and living every bite! I so do love getting/being into The Zone when I'm creating art. Hours pass by and I'm not conscious of needing to drink water, to pee, to get up and stretch so my knees don't yell at me when I'm outta there. It's just me and the art being made...and the 'me' often fades into the hands that are the tools needed; the rest is this 'air' of intuition, of the Universe (God) being there working through the 'me'. Deeply satisfying and when I'm done, there's both this feeling of missing being there in The Zone, and yet also of having worked on a piece that I've fallen in love with. Excellent essay Cecil!!!
