A notoriously sore loser
insulated from reality
with a silver spoon in his mouth
more and more out of touch
with no ideas of his own
a faded moment in time
conjured up from thin air,
an air of desperation.
It’s not a great look.

And they don’t seem to get it.
The seeds of evil, disaster, malcontent
decaying, shrinking and fading
unhinged and unstable
division, hate, revenge, intolerance and fear
knives looking for backs to stab.
before the fall
that is long overdue.

It’s all gone now
the dreams up in smoke.
It all slipped away.
No big surprise there. 

Dangerous days lie ahead. 
They will burn the house down.
Chaos will follow.
Explosion of lies, irrational speech, and threats,
unrelenting anger at something or other.
Terrified and running in circles
like a broken record
and they just don’t seem to get it.
 
And anything can happen.
It will be interesting to see.
