Collage Artist
I am going to try to do a few short updates documenting my time in Brooklyn and Manhattan with Les Jones from Contemporary Collage Magazine.

We both spent the day getting from Albuquerque and London to Brooklyn and arrived by early evening and set up in the L Hotel. Then we walked over to a local bar for a couple of beers. That was pretty much Day 1.
Our plan is to spend a week on a Collage Safari, locating and photographing paper in the wild, hunting and gather collages material from the streets and then making collages on the daily. Les was able to arrange the use of another collage artist’s studio for the week.
Les has also arranged a number of visits to collage artist studios over the course of the week to do interviews for the magazine and then in the evenings we hope to meet with various collagists for dinner and drinks.
