Through a Circular or Spiral Motion - For Jim Leftwich
Through a circular or spiral motion
of religious mysticism, pure science and art
tear apart to gather together.
Throughout make the sense clear.
Letters, normally constellated as words,
are torn apart,
scattered
wasps & bees & yellow-jackets swarming
moving in many directions at once.
[Then] gathered together as an assemblage
of change, of transformation in time
of the reading [of the] winds.
Reading is always loss
where we never quite recognize ourselves -
there is a conversation of sorts in this;
a sort of disposable conversation.
The paradox - alone - is no longer.
What are we to make of this –
a certain primitivity and unfinishedness
[in] its intertwined patterns
[that] are only reflections.
Let it go.
