1982 – Drip Technique Paintings by Cecil Touchon
The Drip Technique is the style of paintings Jackson Pollock became famous for. As part of Touchon’s explorations of gestural marking of that period he experimented with various materials to to see how they would act while making his gestures above the surface and let the materials fall to the paper instead of the direct contact of a brush. He sometimes combined the brush gestures with the drip method.
